Job Summary:
Manager Health Informatics acts as the bridge between the IT department and the healthcare facility. He will seek to implement systems and processes to collect, transfer, and store healthcare facility data in the form of electronic health records. They then use their database management skills to make the data accessible to the right people at the right time. They may also analyze the information flow to find trends and correct inefficiencies.
Job Specifications:
- MBA/Masters in IT with 8 - 10 years’ experience in Healthcare Industry.
- Expertise in Power BI and PMP Certification is desired.
Job Roles & Responsibilities:
- To ensure analyzing the patient data and trends.
- To use data analysis results to develop solutions to improve the delivery of healthcare
- To collaborate with various other departments to improve cost efficiency and collect feedback on the user-friendliness of IT systems
- To bridge the gap between the IT department and other staff members
- To helping the IT department, understand the needs of end-users to build better tools for them
- To ensure the use of technology to improve the information systems and processes used by their practitioners to ensure accurate and thorough data collection and input
- To ensure smooth communication with doctors and their staff training staff about best practices for gathering and inputting data
- To perform regular audits to ensure that all processes, data storage, and patients record are maintained under guidelines of the regularity authorities.
- To analyze all gathered health data to find inefficient practices or processes, preparing reports and assisting in research
- To develop Dashboards for multiple functions related to patients’ data and financial data and perform various analytics and trends.
