Senior Nursing Instructor

Nursing Instructor responsible for teaching and supervision of nursing students in the classroom and clinical settings. Teaching responsibilities include the development and delivery of courses (as per HEC curriculum) as assigned, participation in assessment activities, committee assignments, and academic advising.

Core Responsibilities & Duties

  • Initiate, facilitate, and moderate classroom discussions
  • Prepare and deliver curriculum to students on assigned subjects and topics. Hold lectures and discussions on topics ranging from basic nursing skills to complex medical, ethical and practical issues.
  • Participate in planning, organizing and executing HEC curriculum for the Nursing Program
  • Participate in departmental and team meetings.
  • Keep abreast of developments in their field by reading current literature, talking with colleagues, and Prepare course materials such as syllabus, Lesson plans, Case Studies, assignments, and handouts
  • Supervise, evaluate and mentor students in the classroom, lab, and clinical settings.
  • Adheres to university policies and procedures.

  • Develop and implement diverse teaching and learning strategies that accommodate the learning styles of students and that promote both acquisition and applications of knowledge and understanding.
