Job Qualification:

  • Masters / MBA / MS with HEC Recognized University
  • International qualification/certification in food & beverage management, related standards, Hotel/Hospital management, and hospitality experience will be considered as a plus.
  • Experience in the design and delivery of Competency-based learning models is necessary

Job Experience:

The ideal candidate will possess an extensive background in the food and beverages sector, with a proven track record of managing hotel and restaurant operations. This individual will have a keen eye for detail and a passion for developing innovative menus and food & beverage concepts. Holding an MS or PhD in Hospitality & Tourism Management, the candidate will bring over 10 years of combined experience in both hospitality food & beverage operations and teaching competency-based modules. This dual expertise ensures that they can effectively lead the institute’s outreach and training initiatives, providing top-notch education to students and valuable training to commercial organizations. Their strong leadership and mentorship skills will be pivotal in fostering a dynamic and industry-relevant learning environment.

Key Job Responsibilities

  • Course Development and Instruction: Design and deliver comprehensive Food & Beverages courses for hospitality students, ensuring the curriculum meets industry standards and educational objectives.
  • Training Delivery: Conduct specialized training programs for external commercial organizations, focusing on enhancing their employees\' skills in food and beverage services.
  • Menu Development: Innovate and develop new menus, incorporating current trends and diverse culinary concepts to enhance the institute\'s offerings.
  • Operational Management: Oversee the day-to-day operations of the institute’s training kitchens and restaurants, ensuring a high standard of cleanliness, organization, and functionality.
  • Quality Assurance: Implement and maintain quality control measures for all food and beverage operations within the institute and during external training programs.
  • Industry Partnerships: Establish and nurture relationships with key stakeholders in the hospitality industry to promote the institute’s programs and secure training opportunities.
  • Student Mentorship: Provide guidance and mentorship to students, assisting them in developing their careers in the food and beverage industry.
  • Staff Training: Train and support the institute’s teaching staff in delivering high-quality education and training programs.
  • Research and Development: Stay updated with the latest trends, technologies, and methodologies in food and beverages, and incorporate these into the curriculum and training programs.
  • Budget Management: Manage the financial aspects of the food and beverage training programs, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost control.
  • Competency-Based Modules Delivery: Develop and implement competency-based learning modules that align with industry standards, ensuring students acquire practical skills and knowledge that meet employer expectations.
