We are looking for the services of a Lab Support Engineer - Faculty of Computing Male

• We are seeking a dedicated Computer Lab Charge responsible for managing and maintaining the computer lab, ensuring all equipment is functional and up-to-date. The role involves overseeing student usage, assisting teachers with tech support during lessons, implementing cybersecurity measures, and ensuring a safe and productive environment for learning. The ideal candidate should have a strong technical background, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to troubleshoot hardware and software issues effectively.

Requirements:

• 2+ years of experience in a similar role
• Proficiency in computer troubleshooting and basic network management
• Strong communication and supervisory skills

Education:

Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Engineering or equivalent technical Degree.

Knowledge and Personal Characteristics

• Ability to work quickly but with a strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Team player with good interpersonal skills
• Ability to perform under stress and aggressive deadlines
• Self-organized with the ability to plan ahead
