Job Qualification: B.Sc./BBA in logistics or relevant field from Hec recognized institute.
Job Experience: Minimum 5 years relevant, proven experience as managing materials management, Experience in shipping and receiving, Familiarity with supply chain and inventory management systems, understanding of forecasting and budgeting, Working knowledge of SAP MM and proficient in MS Office.
Job Responsibilities:
- Oversee MM Store operations related to Distribution Center.
- Overseeing the recording of purchase, storage and distribution transactions.
- Determining, implementing and monitoring purchasing, storage and distribution strategies, policies and plans.
- Ensure goods are stored properly and at the right temperature.
- Monitoring and reviewing storage and inventory systems to meet supply requirements and maintain optimal stock levels.
- Operating recording systems to track all movements of supplies and finished goods, and ensuring re-ordering and re-stocking at optimal times.
- Negotiating contracts with suppliers to meet quality, cost and delivery requirements.
- Monitors procedures set forth in the department to ensure integrity and accuracy of inventory and that available resource utilized properly in order to control cost.
- Communicates on daily basis with Supply Chain concerns on issues, ideas, processes, priorities, etc. to maintain department at a high level of efficiency.
- Monitoring the quality, quantity, cost and efficiency of the movement and storage of goods.
- Developing and implementing effective Cost Management and storage of goods.
- Ensuring 100% stock availability of all the necessary supplies in the organization.
- Establish and monitor effective processes and strong control over consumption of supplies.
- Review invoices, work orders, consumption reports, and demand forecasts to estimate peak delivery periods and to issue work assignments.
- Managing warehouse design & facilitates, Plan, develop and implement warehouse safety and security programs and activities.
- Inspect physical conditions of warehouses and equipment and order testing, maintenance, repair or replacement as necessary.
- Effectively Processing, Monitoring and Controlling requisitions raised by various and users.
- Maintaining and reserving assets possessed by the department including Warehouses and Distribution centers.
- Institute and monitor appropriate controls to ensure processes and procedures are performed in a complaint manner.
- Develops and effectively implements warehouse and inventory monitoring systems and procedures.
- Must also take regular stock of the inventory, keeping systems up to date by producing regular reports, and planning for future capacity requirements.
